Meet Jake.
Since receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at UW-Madison in 2016, Jake Bertram has been leading commissioning and recommissioning efforts in Minnesota and across the United States.
Jake excels at all phases of the commissioning process from design review through construction and testing coordination. He insists on thorough planning, concise documentation, and smoothly coordinated communication. Once the basics of system safety, reliability, and occupant comfort are verified, Jake then turns towards assisting the project team with dependable system optimizations for energy efficiency.
Jake maintains certifications in disciplines closely related to commissioning, including mechanical design, Test and Balance (TAB), and BAS (building automation system) programming. See below for certification information.
When he isn’t on the job, Jake is volunteering with the Holland neighborhood association, working on endless house projects, hiking in the woods, and spending time with family and friends.
